Sell Your Damaged Vehicle to
Network Motor Sales
If your insurer decides your damaged vehicle is repairable but you no longer want to keep it, Network Motor Sales may buy it based on its actual cash value, or ACV.
You have choices: if the
insurance company
doesn't total it, we will
fix it or buy it.
An insurance company may determine that your vehicle is repairable based on the estimated repair cost and the vehicle’s value. However, you may feel that repairing and keeping the vehicle is not the right decision for you.
You may have concerns about:
- Driving a vehicle that has been involved in a serious collision
- The vehicle’s future resale or trade-in value
- Accident history appearing on vehicle-history reports
- The time required to complete extensive repairs
- Paying deductibles or other out-of-pocket expenses
- Continuing to own a vehicle you no longer want
Network Motor Sales gives qualifying Network Auto Body customers another path to consider. Instead of completing the repairs and continuing to own the vehicle, you can request an evaluation and see whether selling it makes more sense for your situation.
How Network Motor
Sales Works
Requesting an evaluation does not require you to sell. The final decision remains yours.
1. Tell Your Network Auto Body Representative You Are
Interested
If your insurance company has decided to repair the vehicle but you would rather sell it, let your Network Auto Body representative know.
2. We Share the Vehicle and Claim Information
Network Auto Body can provide Network Motor Sales with the repair estimate, insurance decision, vehicle details, and other information needed for review.
3. Network Motor Sales Evaluates the Vehicle
Network Motor Sales will review the vehicle’s pre-accident condition, damage, mileage, features, claim information, and current actual cash value, or ACV.
4. Review the Purchase Offer
If the vehicle qualifies, Network Motor Sales may offer to buy it based on its current ACV. You can review the offer and decide whether to sell the vehicle or move forward with repairs.
Why Sell a Damaged
Vehicle Instead of
Repairing It?
Every accident and every vehicle owner’s situation is different. Selling may be worth considering when:
- Your insurer considers the vehicle repairable, but you do not want it back
- You are uncomfortable driving the vehicle after a collision
- You are concerned about diminished value or its accident history
- You do not want to wait through a lengthy repair process
- You were already planning to replace or sell the vehicle
- You would rather put the available funds toward another vehicle
- Repairing the vehicle no longer fits your personal or financial plans
Network Auto Body can explain the repair process, while Network Motor Sales can help you determine whether a purchase may be possible. You can then compare your choices before deciding what to do
A Convenient Option From a Team
You Know
Making decisions after an accident can be stressful. You may be communicating with an insurance company, arranging transportation, reviewing repair estimates, and trying to determine whether you still want the vehicle.
Network Motor Sales helps simplify one part of that process.
Because the service is available to Network Auto Body customers, you can begin exploring the sale of your vehicle while it is already being evaluated for collision damage. You do not have to repair the vehicle first, list it for sale yourself, or search for an outside buyer before learning whether an offer may be available.
FAQs: Selling a Damaged Vehicle
to Network Motor Sales
No. This service is intended for situations in which the insurance company considers the vehicle repairable, but the owner may prefer to sell it instead.
Each vehicle must be evaluated individually. The vehicle’s condition, value, damage, insurance claim, repair estimate, ownership status, and other factors may affect whether an offer can be made.
No. Requesting an evaluation does not obligate you to sell. You can review the available information and decide whether you would rather sell the vehicle or continue with repairs.
Network Motor Sales uses third-party valuation software to generate the vehicle’s undamaged actual cash value, or ACV. The valuation may consider factors such as the vehicle’s year, make, model, mileage, features, pre-accident condition, and current market data.
Requirements can vary, but you may be asked to provide identification, registration, title or financing information, insurance claim details, and other documents related to the vehicle.
A vehicle with an existing loan may still be considered, but the lender and payoff amount will need to be addressed as part of the sale. Network Motor Sales can explain the applicable requirements after reviewing your information.
